2025 WRAPPED

As we close the door on 2025, it’s safe to say it’s been a year to remember. From bold transformations to subtle refinements, we’ve made big and small changes across the salon that have shaped who we are today. We’ve celebrated wins, embraced new developments, welcomed back familiar faces, and introduced incredible new team members to our space. Beyond the chairs and mirrors, there have been exciting personal milestones and growth within our salon family. Join us as we look back, reflect, and relive the moments that made 2025 such a wild and wonderful year.

January 2025

Welcoming our new Salon Manager to Melissa Timperley Salons Manchester. He’s made the exciting move all the way from Brighton, bringing fresh energy, expertise, and leadership to our team. We’re thrilled to have him here!

^{An incredible month for our team, led by Adam’s outstanding participation in Fashion Week. Adam worked backstage creating multiple high-fashion hair looks for models, collaborating closely with designers including the prestigious Maison Sara Chraibi. His creativity, precision, and professionalism were on full display throughout the shows. Alongside this, we were proud to be finalists for Customer Service Salon of the Year and to top it off, Melissa and Sara were also nominated for peoples choice award 2025!}

March 2025

We were thrilled to celebrate a special milestone as our long-serving front of house team member, Daisy, tied the knot. Many of the team were delighted to join her on the big day, making it an unforgettable occasion filled with joy, laughter, and love. It was a beautiful evening and a wonderful chance to celebrate together outside of work.

Alongside these celebrations, we’ve also been making a few thoughtful updates in the salon. From our new teapots for a more welcoming experience to upgraded gowns for added comfort, these small changes reflect our ongoing commitment to making every visit feel that little bit more special.

April 2025

We’re delighted to welcome Shauna and Ellie to the team! Since joining us, they’ve already made a huge impact in the salon, bringing fresh energy, talent, and positivity, we absolutely love having them here.

Outside of the salon, we also enjoyed a brilliant Manchester food tour, learning more about the history of the local area while supporting and sampling some fantastic small businesses. It was a great way to spend time together and celebrate the city we’re proud to be part of.

May 2025

We were incredibly proud to see Melissa travel to Florence to take part in the exclusive Gucci VIP event, representing our industry on a truly global stage. The experience was both inspiring and unforgettable. To top off an already remarkable year, we also secured a coveted place in the Hall of Fame for Salon Team of the Year. Closer to home, the team enjoyed a creative pottery painting day, and Melissa and Sara took part in our annual shoot for the British Hairdressing Awards, capturing the passion and artistry behind everything we do.

June 2025

We are delighted to welcome Ella to the team! We are thrilled to have her join our salon family. We can’t wait to see her grow and create amazing work with us.

We also want to celebrate a huge achievement for Shauna. Taking to the main stage at HairCon to showcase her work is an incredible milestone and a true reflection of her skill, dedication, and passion. We are so proud of you, Shauna this was a fantastic moment for our entire team.

July 2025

Vic has officially returned from Australia, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her back where she belongs. Her return makes this moment even more special as we proudly celebrate winning British Hairdressing Business Awards 2025 – Educator of the Year. We had a fantastic time at the awards, our very first with a full house, and it was an unforgettable experience.

August 2025

We’ve finalized Educator of the Year 2025 at the Creative Head Most Wanted Awards. Melissa also marked a personal milestone, taking her longest trip ever to the USA with her husband. Despite a packed schedule, she squeezed in a global awards ceremony in Las Vegas for THE BIG SHOT Hair Competition. Representing with passion and creativity on an international stage!

September 2025

Exciting news across the team! Megan has been promoted to Executive Stylist. Since joining, she has worked incredibly hard, rapidly building a loyal clientele while continuously refining her skills, we’re so proud. We’ve had our biggest Fashion Week season ever. Melissa and Sara took on New York Fashion Week, Adam and Hamish led a show in Milan, and Sara, Megan, Ellie, and Shauna represented us in London. We welcomed B, an apprentice, training alongside the MT team.

October 2025

Huge congratulations to Dawid on completing his university degree, an amazing achievement! We’re also incredibly proud of the team at Salon International, with Melissa, Joe and Sara representing MT Masterclass on stage with inspiring looks and demonstrations. Matt took to the business stage sharing insights on recruitment, while Shauna supported on the main stage. A brilliant showcase of talent all round.

November 2025

December 2025

December was the perfect way to round off an incredible year, and we celebrated in true team style. We had the wildest time at our Christmas party, starting with a trip to The Manchester Big Bake, where things got competitive, creative, and very messy in the best way. From there, we headed to K2 Karaoke for a seriously fun (and slightly chaotic) singalong, before finishing the night in The Village! It was such a brilliant way to relax, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company outside the salon.
