Our Ethos
We know that visiting a hair salon and finding out it isn’t mobility-friendly can be a challenging and stressful experience especially if you’re managing mobility challenges, sensory sensitivities, anxiety or fatigue. As a disability friendly hair salon, we want your visit to feel straightforward from the start, with no awkward surprises at the salon entrance.
It’s hugely important to us to be inclusive in all ways, and we’ve done everything in our power to cater for our less physically able clients and those with health or mobility challenges so disabled clients and many disabled people can enjoy the same opportunities, the same services and the same welcoming customer experience as every other client.
If you have personal needs, prefer extra time or want clear communication throughout your appointment, just let us know when you book your hair appointment and we’ll plan around you. We can also support sensory accommodations, including a quieter, more enjoyable environment and options that can help autistic clients feel comfortable.
The salon is fully approved for disabled access by the Buildings Inspectorate, and our friendly and caring team promise a warm welcome and beautiful hair that will leave you looking and feeling fantastic after your appointment in a friendly, accessible space designed with wheelchair users and disabled people in mind.
If you’d like assistance when you arrive, our team are always happy to help, and we’ll do it in a calm, respectful way.

Our disability-friendly features include:
- On-street car parking, five feet away from the front door of the salon for clients with physical disabilities.
- On-street car parking, five feet away from the front door of the salon for clients with physical disabilities.
- Pavement-level access to the salon entrance – ground floor reception and our consultation station so you can access the space easily and start your appointment comfortably.
- Extra-wide doors throughout the salon for wheelchair access and for easy movement with mobility aids.
- A lift to the styling and colour floors so you can enjoy our full range of hair services without needing stairs.
- Inclusive staff training focused on good practice, dignity, patience and supporting disabled clients.
- Plenty of room to manoeuvre on the salon floor, with space and privacy between the styling stations to help you feel comfortable, unhurried and supported during your visit.
- Specially adapted toilets with approved safety lighting and alarm so you can feel safe during your salon experience.
- Special backwash neck support on wash basins (for all clients) but with particular importance for those with a disability or limited movement helping you stay supported at the basin, with comfort and care throughout.
